Thank you to everyone who joined us at the DAISY Consortium webinar! More than 200 people from across the world tuned in. That is absolutely amazing!

Part of this expert panel is JoAnna Hunt from Amazon, Kiran Kaja from Google, and Scott White from National Federation of the Blind. A special shoutout to fellow New Zealand panellists Geraldine Lewis and Thomas Bryan from Blind Low Vision NZ. We all had to get up nice and early at 2:30 am in the morning! Huge thanks to Richard Orme’s impeccable facilitation and DAISY team’s hard work. We are honoured to be part of it all.

It’s always energising to talk about how voice-first technology can help enhance access to information for people with print disabilities. It was very rewarding to listen to how the first-in-the-world Alexa Skill we developed with Blind Low Vision NZ continues to support people’s access to reading material.

If you missed the webinar, check out the full recording on DAISY Consortium’s website, along with resources and the slides.
